Graphic design, identity animations and motion graphics for a documentary for the Informe Robinson program on Movistar+.

Pedro Escobal was a defender and captain of Real Madrid and played in the Olympic Games with the Spanish national team. Once retired, the Civil War found him in Logroño. He was imprisoned shortly after it began due to his republican ideas. He went through several prisons, where he was close to death, and lived some harrowing experiences that he was able to relate once exiled in an autobiographical book called ‘Las Sacas’.

Being such a raw and harsh story, I based the design of the animated parts on German expressionist cinema: charged atmospheres, continuous symbolism, a contrasted use of light and sets that deform reality to the extreme of madness.
